Disney Springs Restaurant Gets Over $10,000 Stolen By Mysterious Scuba Diving Thief

An Orlando, Florida restaurant in Disney Springs was robbed by a masked scuba diver, who swam away with thousands of dollars.

A popular Disney Springs restaurant in Orlando, Florida was hit with a major burglary on Monday, September 15.

Paddlefish, the eatery in question, received the surprise visitor just after midnight.

A man dressed head to toe in black scuba diving gear busted into the Disney Springs restaurant’s office, where two employees were counting the drawer after closing.

The thief ordered the staff members to close their eyes and get down on their knees. It was also reported that the burglar tied them up.

Within minutes, the anonymous man stole anywhere between $10,000 and $20,000 from the seafood restaurant, which operates inside a steamboat on Lake Buena Vista, and swam away.

No diners were present at the time, and the two employees who witnessed the incident were fortunately left unharmed.

While the team members were able to free themselves and call 911, the mystery burglar, who can be described as slim and approximately 5’10”, is still on the run.

The Orange County Sheriff’s Office is continuing to investigate this incident.
