Disney recently announced that it will be increasing the price of their monthly streaming service.

The announcement came just a week after they announced they would be kicking Jimmy Kimmel Live! off their network, ABC, for Kimmel’s Charlie Kirk-related comments.

Disney later overturned the ban on Kimmel’s show, which will re-air on ABC on Tuesday.

Although the Kimmel news is still fresh, Disney is confidently moving forward with the price increases.

Not only will Disney+ be affected, but so will their other streaming services, Hulu and ESPN.

As of October 21, their new price structure will be as follows:

  • Disney+: An increase by $2 to $11.99 with ads or an increase by $3 to $18.99 without ads
  • Hulu: An increase by $2 to $11.99
  • ESPN: An increase by $1 to $12.99

The cost for service bundles will also increase. The premium bundle for the trio will go from $26.99 to $29.99.

While the timing might seem fishy considering the recent Kimmel drama, Disney raised prices for all three streaming services in both 2023 and 2024.
